Publication requirements
Requirements for the publication of articles in the journal "Psychology and Pedagogy of sports activity" (previous title: "Sports psychologist", from 2003 to 2022).
Mandatory requirements of the journal included in the RSCI and the Higher Attestation Commission for the content of the article:
The article should contain (numbering is not needed):
1. UDC
2. Title of the article (in capital letters, in Russian and English);
3. Information about the author(s):
Full name of all authors (in Russian and English);
academic degree, academic title (in Russian and English);
position, division and full name of the organization, city, country (in Russian and English);
email address of at least one author of the article;
4. Keywords (in Russian and English);
5. An abstract (5-10 lines) in Russian and (5-10 lines) in English.
6. The text of the experimental study must necessarily contain the following points:
Relevance of the study;
Goal;
Organization of research;
Subjects;
Research methods;
Research results;
Discussion of the results of the study;
Conclusions (or conclusion);
Practical recommendations (optional);
7. Literature (in Russian and English).

Subject and focus of publications:
The journal "Psychology and Pedagogy of Sports Activity" publishes original theoretical, experimental and applied materials, as well as reviews of domestic and foreign studies in the following areas (and sections) of sports psychology and pedagogy:
- Problems and history of sports psychology;
- Psychology of the personality of an athlete, coach;
- Psychology of preparation, training and competitions;
- Socio-psychological problems in physical culture and sports;
- Psychophysiology of sports;
- Psychologists of the Fatherland;
- Applied and experimental research in the field of sports and physical culture;
- Diagnostics and correction in physical culture and sports;
- Problems and history of sports pedagogy;
- Theory and methodology of physical culture and sports;
- Health-improving and adaptive physical culture;
- Professional physical training;
- Pedagogy of professional education;
- Teachers of the Fatherland.
Technical requirements:
1. The volume of the manuscript, including bibliographic references, figures and tables, should not exceed 5 pages;
2. Forced transfers are not recommended;
3. The font in the document is TimesNewRoman; the size is 14 pt. Line spacing – single; page width alignment.
4. Margins: left, right, top, bottom – 2.0 cm
. 5. The text of the document in Word is not highlighted by curly elements such as circles, squares, arrows, etc.
6. In the text of the document, only keywords are highlighted in italics or bold.
7. Images are inserted into the text of the article, as well as provided in separate files in the format.jpg or .tiff with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. If the drawing or graph was built in Exel, be sure to send the original .xls.
8 file. The tables in the text of the article are stuffed into Word, and are not inserted with a picture.
9. Titles highlighted in the text of the article using CAPS LOCK are not welcome.
10. Bibliographic references in the text of the article should be given in square brackets in accordance with the numbering in the list of references. The list of references is compiled in Russian and English. In the list of references in Russian, sources are given in alphabetical order – first domestic, then foreign. In English, the list of references is duplicated with the preservation of numbering and sources. When translating a domestic publication into English, the full names of the authors and the output data of journals or publishers are transcribed, the title of the article is translated. The list of references is drawn up in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5 2008.

2. Articles that do not meet these requirements are not automatically published.
3. Articles sent to the authors for revision and not returned to the editorial office by the designated deadline are excluded from the editorial portfolio.
4. The editorial staff gets acquainted with the letters of readers, but does not enter into correspondence.
