About the journal

The journal "Psychology and Pedagogy of Sports Activity" publishes original theoretical, experimental and applied works, as well as reviews of domestic and foreign studies in the following areas (and sections) of sports psychology and pedagogy:

The journal was founded in 2003 on the basis of the Psychology Department of the Russian University of Sports "GTSOLIFK". Until 2022, the magazine was called "Sports Psychologist".

The main purpose of the publication is to highlight the results of scientific research and practical work of scientists and practitioners in the field of psychology and pedagogy of physical culture and sports.

The journal is included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission.
